Helyzetjelentek - Sziget

Lassan három hete halotti csend honol a blogon, fehérkés penészfoltok lepik el üszkös testét.
De ennek most talán vége. Vagy nem :)

Szigetről írok, mert az jóság. Szóval úgy kezdődött, hogy jegyeket nyertem, nem is egyet, így nem költöttem egy forintot sem, mégis baromi jól éreztem magam. Köszönjük hát a budacast.hu-nak és az Aranykor Magánnyugdíjpénztárnak a támogatást.

Kimentünk jól, munkából hál istennek, hamarost egy sör mellett üldögéltem Ádámékkal. A sör kellemesen 6 decis volt, tovább tartott. Aztán össze-vissza járkálás, Ability Park, ahol kerekesszékkel hajtottam magam majd bekötött szemmel falat másztam gyorsan.

Elsétáltunk a Lumináriumhoz, amire nagyon vágytam. Sajnos sok mások is, így ezt most is kihagytam. Inkább elsétáltunk Linkin Park tribute koncertre, nem tetszett, de LP sem maga.

Tankcsapda koncert kezdődött, egy picit álldogáltam ott, de kezdődött a Kerekes Band, tehát menni kellett. Persze nem találtunk meg egymást Ágostonnal, csak Népszabadság sátornál fél órás késéssel, és egy fröccs társaságában megvitattuk, hogy lesz máskor is Kerekes (figyelem, megjelent az új album, Fel a kalappal címen, és lesz lemezbemutató koncert is az A38-on! Mindenkinek ajánlom őket), Killers viszont ritkábban.

Befurakodtunk jó előre, koncert nagyszerű volt, végén All the Things egy eksztázis. Hogy onnantól hová mentem, miket láttam Justiceig, már kérdéses. José Gonzalesról pedig megfeledkeztem én balga...

Justiceról, amit nagy szerencsémre áttettek éjfélre, csak annyit tudok mondani, ELKÉPESZTŐ. Ilyen baromi jó koncertem ritkán van, és még csak nem is elől, hanem inkább leghátul álltam, arra való tekintettel, hogy az egész MasterCard sátor TELE VOLT EMBEREKKEL ROGYÁSIG. A támpillérekről csüngtek le a népek. Másfél-két órás tánc, számok jönnek sorban. DANCE, DVNO, We Are Your Friends és a legjobb, utolsó számként Master of Puppets. Remélem gyakran jönnek még, hogy máskor is átérezzem a diszkót.



Aztán sétafika, terveztem, hogy lesz valami jó, de nem igazán lett. Zenben is csak szokásos hülyülés. Anettel találkoztam inkább, nem kellett volna.

Összességében megint egy remek Sziget volt ez, jövőre egész hétre megyek, sátorral meg mindennel, hogy ott legyek a hangulatban, a sok ausländerrel.

Sziget 2007

No, mégiscsak elmentem. Egy napra, s nem többre. Tool volt a kiszemelt koncert ugye, de sajna nem jött össze a kijutás, de végülis nem sajnálom, mert jól, sőt, remekül éreztem magam. Részleteket nem írok, mert annyira nem érdemes. Aki volt kint, tudja, milyen.
Teljesen felesleges szaporítani a szót. Inkább írok mindjárt egy jó kis balatoni buliról :)

And now something completely different! Sziget

So, I was thinking to myself: Damn, lots'o people read this blog often (course I'm stretching the meaning of lots to breaking point, I'm well aware of that), who should be perfect at speaking English at about intermediate level.
So, as a hoot and a treat for all ye merry lasses and gents, this whole post shall be conjured up from the bottomless pit o' my mind in all of it's manifestation in English! How jolly is that?

Course, if you spot minor flaws here'n'there, let me know. It's all in the possibilities of chance that I simply forgot, how to write in English properly.

Of course you just say: bollocks and scorn on me for abandoning my native tongue in favour of a (the?) lingua franca, then be it, I shall take the lashing. none is forcing thee to read mhee. To the rest, cheerio!

So, this post will be written mainly about Sziget, but my train of thought can be derailed from time to time.
Sziget, ah, the great Hungarian festival, a holy Bacchanalia and mutual cultural exchange ground. It seems to me, that in recent years it has taken to a fancy that this week long hedonism is to be reserved for the somewhat more prosperous people. By that, I mean foreigners. Don't get me wrong, not being xenophobic here, just stating, that prices for a week pass, especially sleeping ones, are obscenely high. Taken the student's average pocket money + savings + salary.

Myself would have wanted to go out, not only on one day, but many, as the concerts that interest me most are held on very different days (check the side, built-in nifty calendar), but only one day will have to suffice. The one I shall make a point of attending is August the 13th, as Tool will be performing for the assembled masses. I wish to be mass. As the rest of the Sziget goes, great concerts shall be sorely missed, but, alas, I will survive.

So, that would be for it tonight. Now I will watch a new, upcoming Tim Burtonese series called Pushing Daisies, and afterwards head into the realm of dreams. Best of the evening to y'all!

Sidenote: I just got a private message from a girl in Romania, whom with I had no contact at all, telling me how she hopes that we will congregate during Sziget. Isn't that a bit quaint?
